Contest announcement for May 5th to October 25th, 2006:

We have opened a Wyndz.com writing contest.

The theme of the contest is "Strange, Inspirational, and Ridiculous."

There is no entry fee.

There will be 10 winners.
The chosen authors will get a link from our 'Examples' page. This 'Examples' page will be representative of the mission of Wyndz.com and will be developed at the end of the contest. The 10 authors' stories will serve as the examples.
Winners will also receive a 6-month link feature on the home page of Wyndz.com

The owners of Wyndz.com are the judges.
The stories will be judged based on how well the writer stayed with the contest theme. The abilities of the writers will also be judged: the writer's ability to tell a story, character formation, and descriptiveness. Please refer to the 'Submission Guidelines' page to see what else we would like to see in your submissions. With exception to the word limit, most other guidelines on the Submission Guidelines page apply.

We will be accepting submissions starting May 5th. We won't be accepting any submissions after October 25th.

All stories submitted for the contest will also be added to the Wyndz.com listings.

If you are a writer, then you are welcome to submit your story for inclusion in the contest.

If you submit your work for consideration in the contest, please follow these guidelines

Word length should be 200 - 2000 words. There is a 2000 word limit for the contest.

If you are just copying your story into an email, please space your paragraphs with two hard returns.

We will accept stories submitted in Microsoft Word in an email attachment.

Only your Name and Website address will be posted with your story publicly. The other contact info will be kept for our purposes only and to help protect your privacy, we will not share or sell your information to anyone else.
